STAR-P systems have been designed to enable the emergency and loudspeaking, dispatcher's, and telephony communication at industrial facilities with explosive hazard, within the spaces listed in categories IIB T3 of the explosion danger. They enable fast flow of information on any current hazards between the plant personnel and the dispatcher, as well as announcing messages during rescue operations, as well as sending information and orders during regular exploitation. The utilization of telephone signaling devices of versions ZITG enables sending of information from the two-stage sensors to the system of dispatcher's supervision (SD2000 or microHADES-ZEFIR) and controlling commands from the dispatcher's room to the executing circuits. The STAR-P system may be utilized both at big centralized plants which require the capacity up to 384 NN, and at the plants with the dispersed structure, which are located apart from one another by the distance which is limited by the transmission device (copper cable - up to five kilometers or light pipe - up to 30 kilometers).
