ApplicationDispatcher's keyboard can be used for the visualization of the operating status of all the alarm lines in the STAR (STAR-320) and STAR-N (STAR-M) systems, and it enables communication of the dispatcher with any supervision line or a group of lines. PD-STAR is built in the module wooden housing case intended for installation on the dispatcher's tables. The modular feature of the keyboard ensures the minimum capacity of 16 PL (line buttons) and it enables its development of Nx16 PL up to the maximum capacity of 384 PL. For the standard version, the keyboards include: 192, 384 line buttons PL. The PD keyboard is composed of the line unit and group unit. The line unite includes the PL buttons along with signal lamps corresponding to each supervision line. By the use of line button, the dispatcher can connect himself to any supervising line at any moment. The signal lamps inform on the real condition of the supervision line (standstill, telephone conversation carried out by a subscriber, calling of the dispatcher in the regular mode, calling of the dispatcher in the emergency mode, broadcasting by the dispatcher to a subscriber, status of the conversation of a subscriber with another dispatcher, status of the subscriber's line defect). The group unit of the keyboard is composed of buttons and lamps corresponding to them: broadcasting of individual and group signals, broadcasting of the agreed verbal messages, individual and group alarms, broadcasting of individual and group calling signals, broadcasting from the dispatcher to a subscriber or a group of subscribers of dispatcher's announcements. Within the group part of the keyboard one can also find the buttons of switching off of the emergency condition, switching on and recording of conversation, switching the main keyboard (A) over to auxiliary keyboard (B), and another way round, turning off of the acoustic calling signalization and disconnecting of the reserve lines. The dispatcher is also able to carry out conversations by the use of microphone and loud-speaker. The dispatcher's connection is performed exclusively within the "simplex" system".
